A truck carrying a toxic load, has overturned near the toll gates on the N1 near Matoks early on Tuesday morning. Motorists are warned to use caution when driving past the scene of the accident.
Traffic authorities earlier confirmed that the N1 is not closed, but warned motorists not to stop at the scene. The truck was carrying sodium cyanide and this can create toxic gasses.
