Tshakhuma Na Ndilani FC booked a place in the final of the Amos Shield Soccer Tournament by beating Tshakhuma RO United 1-0 at the fully packed Tshakhuma Malaria grounds on Sunday.

The defence of Tshakhuma Na Ndilani, or Makhurabada as they are affectionately called, which was marshaled by the vastly experienced Tshifhiwa Mmbooi, was untouchable.

Elvis Netshidongololo of RO United found himself on the wrong side of the football laws in the 14th minute. He tackled Ndamulelo Mukwevho from behind and Referee Eric Munyai was lenient enough to let him go with yellow, when everyone thought he deserved red.

Lufuno "CJ" Mugodi of United was unlucky in the 24th minute. He received a beautiful pass from Thivhulawi Silima just outside the penalty box and unleashed aimlessly, instead of picking a spot and sending the keeper the wrong way. Tshakhuma Na Ndilani took the lead in the 29th minute. Rofhiwa Netshiungani dribbled past the keeper and scored easily after a neat pass from Oscar Mulangaphuma.

United's strikers let them down as they continued to fumble at the goal finish. Ndamulelo Mukwevho, the left winger of Tshakhuma Na Ndilani, was booked towards the end of the first half for obstructing Mulisa Luvhengo.

Tshakhuma RO United came back strongly in the last half. They created several dangerous moves from the middle of the park, but the defenders of Makhurabada, Tshifhiwa Mmbooi and Sedzazwau Mushoma, blocked their way effectively.

Makhurabada will play against the winner between FC KK and Maweja Takers in the final. KK and Takers will meet in their decider at the Tshakhuma Malaria grounds tomorrow.
