In their promotional play-off match at the Tshifulanani Stadium on Sunday, Tshakhuma Na Ndilani were too strong for Tshivhilidulu Hungry Lions, whom they brutally walloped 4-1. Tshakhuma Na Ndilani, or TNN as they are affectionately called, took the game to Lions from the first whistle. It took them only nine minutes to open their account.

Their forceful striker, Dakalo "Akonkwo" Nemakonde, scored with a header after a corner kick that was taken by Gift Nemutandani. The referee, Mr Eric Munyai, reprimanded Owen Netshifhire with a card for a dangerous tackle on Gift Nemutandani in the 18th minute. TNN increased the margin in the 29th minute.

Dakalo Nemakonde completed his brace with a half volley, following a rebound that resulted from Rofhiwa Netshiungani's initial attempt. The score was still 2-0 when the teams adjourned for half time. TNN conceded a silly goal two minutes into the last half. Their keeper, Moses Nemusumani, advanced out of the penalty area and started to watch the game as if he was a spectator. Mukhethwa Mulaudzi, who came on as a substitute, took advantage of that and sent in a long-range volley. Nemusumani watched helplessly as the ball hit the back of the net.

TNN effected two changes to their starting lineup 10 minutes later. They introduced Ricardo Miriri and Ndamulelo Mukwevho and sacrificed Rinae Mphephu and Oscar Ntshauba.

Gift Nemutandani scored the third after receiving a neat pass from Rofhiwa Netshiungani. He also scored the fourth, following a brilliant pass from Ndamulelo Mukwevho in the 79th minute. Ndivhuwo Sathuma, the Lions' lethal striker, was given his marching orders for tackling Tshifhiwa Mulaudzi from behind.

In the other three matches, TNN drew 1-1 with Madridtas and Wayeni Sea Robbers and beat Matsika Shooting Stars 2-0.
