Author Tshauambea "Tshau" Ramukumba had more success in the modelling world after she made it into the Empress South Africa 2020 semi-finals, where she was also bestowed the permanent title of Warrior Princess.

Tshauambea Ramukumba is a 25-year-old, talented artist born and bred in Dzingahe village. A qualified employed electrician and mechanical engineer in the making, Tshau carries many pageant titles. She is an excellent speaker, poet, actress, and published author of Shades of Shock.

"When I was growing up, the word 'modelling' was never in my vocabulary; I never imagined myself on stage doing the walk and the talk," she said.

She had entered for the Miss Phenomenal SA competition last year. "That's where I started to see that I have what it takes to be a beauty queen with brains," she said. "Early this year, I learned about Empress SA and I instantly joined because I knew that I am worth it."

Empress SA is the platform of women empowerment, she said. "My aim in life is to get empowered, so that I too can empower people to overcome any difficulties and eventually manage to succeed in their lives."

"Now I am looking forward to the finals," she said.
