Miss Limpopo Province 2025 finalist Tshepiso Promise Mphidi is proving that true queens fix each other's crowns. Far from the glitter and stage lights, the 26-year-old social worker and entrepreneur from Thohoyandou is using her platform to empower young women to embrace their hustle and believe in their worth.

Her campaign, "The Realistic Day of a South African Youth," challenges the notion that beauty queens exist only in glamour. Instead, Mphidi's story highlights the struggles and determination that many young South Africans face daily, from unemployment to the constant need to innovate.

"True queens fix each other's crowns. Every girl deserves to know she is capable, valuable, and enough," she said.

Mphidi's list of pageant accomplishments is as impressive as her purpose. She has won 30 queen titles and achieved more than 75 overall wins across local and national competitions. Among her standout titles are International Junior Miss South Africa 2024, Miss Limpopo 2024, Miss Limpopo Province 1st Runner-Up, Miss Univen 2022, and Miss Teen Galaxy 2022.

Despite her success, Mphidi remains grounded. She owns a small beauty salon, Glow and Show, offering makeup and nail services. To support herself, she also sells sweets outside Thohoyandou Secondary School and along Univen Road. "I want to show the public that behind the crown there is hustle and determination," she said.

As a qualified social worker, Mphidi combines beauty with purpose. Through her modelling school, she mentors young girls, helping them build confidence and self-belief. "When clients walk into my salon, they leave feeling more beautiful and more assured in themselves, and that is the kind of impact I seek to create," she said.

The Miss Limpopo Province finale will be held on 29 November at Bolivia Lodge in Polokwane, where Mphidi hopes to continue inspiring others — one crown at a time.
