Tshikuwi man vanishes after stepping outside at night

Mphephu police are searching for Rendani Mposi (36) who disappeared from his Tshikuwi Village home on 1 June after going to an outside toilet.

Police in Mphephu have launched a search for a 36-year-old man from Tshikuwi Village who disappeared from his home during the early hours of Monday, 1 June.

Rendani Mposi was last seen at his residence while spending the night with his wife. According to information provided by police, Mposi allegedly went to an outside toilet during the early hours of the morning and never returned.

His wife reportedly discovered that he was missing when she woke up later that morning.

The unexplained disappearance prompted family members, relatives, friends and community members to conduct a search throughout the day. However, their efforts yielded no results and Mposi remains unaccounted for.

Police in Mphephu have appealed to members of the public to assist in locating the missing man.

Anyone with information regarding Mposi’s whereabouts is urged to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Thendo Ravele, on 072 149 8029, visit their nearest police station, or call the Crime Stop number on 08600 10111. Information can also be submitted via the MySAPS App.
