Tshisaulu FC crushed Ngovhela FC 4-1 in a Thulamela Local Football Association League match at the Tshisaulu Lwandani High School grounds on Saturday.

Ngovhela were lucky not to concede more than half a dozen goals in the game as the hosts were all over them from the onset. Tshisaulu frustrated the visitors through their dribbling skills in the opening minutes of the game.

Tshisaulu knocked on the opposition's door twice within the first 10 minutes. Adivhaho Silima received a neat pass from Tshilidzi Mulaudzi in the 35-meter area and forced his way through the defence of Ngovhela before unleashing a half volley from inside the box. A defender of Ngovhela, Tandani Thoboni, deflected the ball away for a corner kick.

Tshisaulu took the lead in the 25th minute. Their dribbling wizard, Tshilidzi Mulaudzi, beat the offside trap and sent the keeper the wrong way with a ground cutter. Tshisaulu continued to dominate after their opening goal. They increased the margin in the 34th minute. Tshilidzi Mulaudzi caught the keeper of Ngovhela, Avhatakali Nemauluma, napping with a long-range half volley.

Ngovhela's solitary goal came four minutes before the referee, Mr Nnditsheni Sadiki, blew the half-time whistle. Ngovhela were forced to replace their playmaker, Andani Netshivhambe, with Tshifhiwa Mushasha early in the last half. Netshivhambe left the pitch on a stretcher with a head injury.

The only replacement Tshisaulu made was when they introduced Mashudu Nematswerani for Maseo Munyai in the 59th minute. Tshisaulu scored the third goal in the 74th minute when Khumbelo Mafunzwaini forced his way through the defence of Ngovhela and beat the keeper with a ground cutter.

Akonaho Mudau, a defender of Ngovhela, deflected the ball back into his own net while trying to clear, causing an own goal towards the end of the game.
