After beating Real Kings 2-1 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane last Sunday, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) will play another league match at home this weekend.
They will host TS Galaxy at the Peter Mokaba Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
Galaxy will be lucky if, by chance, they manage to go back to Mpumalanga with a draw if TTM's performance against Real Kings is anything to go by. Galaxy are the rookies in the NFD and are still to register victory in a league match. Their best result was a 2-2 draw against Jomo Cosmos at the Kameelrivier Stadium last Sunday. Although they had already assembled a formidable squad that has the potential to go places, TTM were on the verge of signing three new seasoned players at the time of our going to press.
According to the club's marketing manager, Mr Livhuwani Madzuhe, one of the new recruits is a goalkeeper from France, while the other two are strikers. TTM acquired the services of two vastly experienced strikers, David Zulu and Edward Manqele, and the former Black Leopards' left back, Lebohang Mabotja, last week. The trio were part of the team that beat Real Kings last weekend.
The Western Cape derby between Ajax Cape Town and Stellenbosch FC will be staged at the Cape Town Stadium, while the Mpumalanga derby between Mbombela United and Witbank Spurs will be staged at the Kanyamazane Stadium in Nelspruit. The University of Pretoria will travel to Durban, where they will play against Real Kings at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium. Real Kings are still to deposit a point into their league account.
The newly promoted Maccabi FC will entertain Cape Umoya United at the Volkswagen Dobsonville Stadium in Johannesburg. Jomo Cosmos will host TS Sporting at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa.
The other fixtures are Richards Bay FC vs Royal Eagles and Uthongathi vs Ubuntu Cape Town.
