If the current National First Division (NFD) League log were the final one, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) would be gaining automatic promotion to the Absa Premiership Division. TTM are leading the pack with 11 points accumulated from 5 matches.

The only NFD side in the Limpopo Province still to lose a league match this season, they won thee of the five matches they played to date and shared the spoils twice. They collected the maximum points against TS Galaxy FC, Real Kings and Cape Umoya United and played to a draw against Uthongathi FC and Royal Eagles.

Ajax Cape Town are close behind them in 2nd position with 10 points. Unlike TTM, Ajax Cape Town have lost one match to date.

Mbombela United, who were on top of the log earlier the season, are now in the third spot with nine points. Uthongathi FC are in the fourth position with eight points. Jomo Cosmos, who started the season on a sad note, are in fifthe position with the same number of points. The other teams that have the same number of points are the University of Pretoria FC and TS Sporting.

Richards Bay FC, who were leading the pack three weeks ago, have dropped to the eitghth position. Ubuntu Cape Town are languishing at the bottom of the log. They have deposited only one point into their league account to date.

The other team that is fighting for survival is Real Kings. They have one point as well. Three teams, Witbank Spurs, Stellenbosch FC and TS Galaxy, have four points each.
