Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) proved that they are serious about promotion when they beat Witbank Spurs 2-0 in their NFD League match in eMalahleni on Saturday.

It took the visitors from Vhembe 19 minutes to stamp their authority on the match. Their overlapping midfielder, Khunadi Nkoana, found the net, following a defence-splitting pass by Mpambaniso Monde.

Themba Ndlovu blasted in a rocket from the edge of the box later in the game to ensure that TTM went back with the maximum points.

Highlands Park maintained their leadership by crushing Ubuntu Cape Town 3-0 at the Parow Park Stadium in Cape Town. Sabelo Nyembe, Peter Shalulile and Sphiwe Mahlangu scored for the Lions of the North to push the Cape Town side deeper into the relegation quagmire. Highlands Park are now six points clear on top of the log.

The unexpected happened at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban when Uthongathi FC collected the maximum points at the expense of Jomo Cosmos, when they beat them 1-0. Siyabonga Vilane, the goal scorer, was a marvel to watch. Cosmos are still lying in the third position, despite the embarrassing defeat.

Real Kings crushed Super Eagles 3-1 at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Durban. Nkosingiphile Phewa scored a brace, while the third came via Lindokuhle Mtshali. Mlungisi Nkosi scored the Eagles' solitary goal.

Mbombela United and University of Pretoria played to a goalless draw at the Kanyamazane Stadium in Nelspruit. Stellenbosch FC beat Mthatha Bucks 2-1 while Black Leopards lost to Cape Town All Stars by the same margin.
