The two teams that will contest the Limpopo Province final of the Nedbank Cup will be decided this Sunday.

The provincial semi-finals, featuring ABC Motsepe League teams from Limpopo, will be played at Seshego Stadium in Polokwane on Saturday and Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday.

The first semi-final sees PJ Stars take on Lehlabile Young Stars at Seshego Stadium on Saturday. The second will feature Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC (TTM) against Mpheni Defenders at Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday.

TTM, also known as Vhadau Vha Damani, secured their semi-final spot with a 1-0 win over Mukondeni Young Chiefs in their final group-stage match at Homu Stadium near Giyani two weeks ago.

Mpheni Defenders, meanwhile, are confident they can use TTM as a stepping stone to the provincial final. Head coach Sydwell Phuravhathu said the team aimed to progress beyond the round of 16 at the national level this season.

The Defenders, nicknamed Up The Bulls, were eliminated by Betway Premiership side Mamelodi Sundowns in the round of 16 last season. They have recently strengthened their squad with several experienced players, including former Black Leopards and Orlando Pirates midfielder Meshack Maphangule.

TTM remain something of an unknown to the Defenders, having only acquired their ABC Motsepe League franchise from Maruleng Celtic at the start of last month.
