Limpopo police are hunting for suspects after two men, aged 32 and 38, were shot dead at a tavern in Ha-Magau village on Sunday evening, 7 June.

Limpopo police have launched a manhunt for suspects following a shooting at a tavern in Ha-Magau village, Tshilwavhusiku, which left two men dead on Sunday evening, 7 June. The shooting occurred at about 20:30.

Police were called to the scene after receiving reports that two people had been shot inside a local tavern. Upon arrival, officers found two men lying inside the establishment with gunshot wounds.

Emergency Medical Services personnel declared the victims, aged 32 and 38, dead at the scene. Preliminary investigations indicate that unknown suspects entered the tavern and opened fire before fleeing.

Police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba said information gathered at the scene suggests the suspects may have escaped in a white vehicle.

The motive for the attack remains unknown and forms part of the ongoing investigation.
