In their MMK Administrators Soccer League match at the Lufule grounds on Saturday, Thembaluvhilo Seven Stars rose to the occasion and held United Artists to a goalless draw.

The game was not a true reflection of the game as United Artists wasted numerous scoring opportunities. Seven Stars played defensive football for the better part of the first half. They only started to launch some attacks after realizing that the Artists' strikers seemed to have left their scoring boots at home.

Artists' diminutive left back, Ronewa Gidi, was out of touch. He committed numerous mistakes within his own danger area, but the visitors' strikers failed to capitalize on that. As if they were hypnotized, the Stars' goal poachers just stood aside and looked on as Gidi committed silly mistakes.

The Artists' veteran defender, Maduvha Mudologi, was unlucky in the 24th minute. He was allowed enough space to unleash from the edge of the box. The ball missed the goal mouth by inches, much to the fans' disappointment.

Jeffrey Mungoni, the Artists bulldozer striker, could not live up to the fans' expectations and was tightly marked. Realizing that Mungoni was not delivering as anticipated, the team's technical staff replaced him with Mushe Luvhimbi in the opening minutes of the second half. Ramudzuli Bulannga of Seven Stars was booked for dangerous play in the 64th minute.

Luvhimbi was unlucky when he won a loose ball from the left corner and tried his luck from just outside the box. The ball hit the woodwork and landed outside the field of play for a goal kick. Artists later replaced Rofhiwa Nembudani with Samuel Mathebula, but that did not change the complexion of the game.
