Another busy weekend lies ahead for teams in the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League. After a 1-1 draw against White Vultures at the Lulekani Stadium near Phalaborwa last Saturday, United Artists are hitting the road again this weekend. They will face Tzaneen United at the Nkowankowa Stadium outside Tzaneen on Saturday.
United Artists and Tzaneen United are in a fierce battle for the league championship. Artists have amassed 15 points so far, just three behind league leaders Vondwe XI Bullets. Tzaneen will face a tough challenge in containing Artists' skilful players, including Wanga Khorommbi, Tshepo Malatjie, and Maanda Makhado.
Munaca FC will have home-ground advantage for the second consecutive weekend as they host Maruleng Celtic at the Makhado Show Grounds. Munaca are still riding high after their impressive 4-0 victory over Black Leopards at the same venue last Saturday.
Winners Park are preparing for a challenging encounter against Musina United at the Musina Old Mine Stadium. Winners Park are buoyed by their 2-0 win over Tlhotlhokwe Golden Syrup last Saturday, but they'll need to bring their best as Musina United are known to be tough opponents in front of their home crowd.
League leaders Vondwe XI Bullets will travel to face Nkowankowa Continentals at the Nkowankowa Stadium. The Bullets are sitting comfortably at the top of the log, following their 2-1 win over Tzaneen United at the Makonde Stadium last Saturday.
Elsewhere, Tlhotlhokwe Golden Syrup will take on White Vultures at the Lulekani Stadium near Phalaborwa.
