Muraleni United Brothers won their Limpopo Dairy league match 1-0 against Ramantsha FC on Saturday.

Despite numerous attempts by the goal poachers of Ramantsha FC in the opening minutes, their Limpopo Dairy League match against Muraleni United Brothers at Ramantsha on Saturday ended 1-0 in favour of United.

The home side immediately took command of the game, in search of an early goal. The pressure increased on the United defenders, who continuously made mistakes. The guys who were giving the United defence a terrible headache were Khutso Dikgadi and Ronald Ramaligela.

The visitors missed three easy opportunities in the first half. The players who made the United fans jump up from their seats in disbelief were Muvhulawa Rambuda, Duncan Maringa and Azwitamisi Maphupha. The player who caused a real upset towards the end of the first half was Rofhiwa Mufamadi. His shot hit the upright from the penalty box, with the United keeper, Pfarelo Masindi, well beaten.

United made two substitutions in the last half. They introduced Mulalo Managa and Dakalo Thangavhuelelo respectively. The replacements proved to be a clever move on the part of the United technical staff. Percy Munyadziwa of United scored the only goal of the day.

Ramantsha have only themselves to blame for the defeat. They abused countless scoring opportunities.
