Miss Vhanzhi Ramukumba was crowned Miss Super Shine 2019/20 during the first ever Miss Super Shine beauty pageant that was held at the AFM Church in Lufule II a fortnight ago.
Munaka Tshovhota was the first princess, Khanyisile Nenzhelele the second princess, while Rudzani Phale was crowned Miss Personality and Murunwa Murunwa was Miss Public Choice.
All five received cash, sashes, crowns and goodie bags.
The queen, Vhanzhi Ramukumba, said that she felt grateful to have won the competition and indicated that it would boost her self-confidence in going forward. She also encouraged other young people to keep themselves busy by participating in beauty pageants.
The event was organized by Rose Ramuedi, Elelwani Bologo and Portia Ramasimu.
One of the event organizers, Rose Ramuedi, said that they wanted to encourage aspiring models to participate in beauty pageants and refrain from alcohol and drug abuse. "We are pleased to have created something for the communities to engage themselves in," Ramuedi said.
