Another action-packed weekend awaits teams competing in the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League.
After holding Mukondeni Young Chiefs to a 1–1 draw at Makhado Show Grounds last Saturday, White Vultures are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for another tough encounter. They will host the log leaders, Mpheni Defenders, at Selwane Grounds outside Phalaborwa on Saturday.
Mpheni Defenders remain unbeaten in the league this season. Known as Up The Bulls, they are in high spirits following a 6–0 victory over Lebash Football Academy at Mpheni Grounds last weekend. The team’s head coach, Sydwell Phuravhathu, said their aim is to maintain a clean record until the end of the season. He added that the target is achievable, with only seven matches remaining.
Vondwe XI Bullets will take on Nkowankowa Continentals at Makonde Stadium. Phathutshedzo Nemagovhani and Khathutshelo Madzhuta are expected to be key players for the Bullets.
Bullets will be favourites going into the match, as Continentals are yet to register a league win this season and remain rooted at the bottom of the log with just three points.
Musina United will face Lebash Football Academy at Musina Rugby Stadium. Musina played to a goalless draw against Nkowankowa Continentals last weekend.
Mukondeni Young Chiefs will travel to Tzaneen to take on Tzaneen United at Nkowankowa Stadium.
