Nineteen-year-old Vunene Salani from Hamasia Tshipuseni outside Vuwani has captured the hearts of communities from all over with his unique dancing techniques.

His exceptional talent for entertaining people with his dancing skills has catapulted him to instant celebrity status, making him the envy of many, and no function is complete without this 12th grader. He is a popular face at parties, graduations, weddings and other events in his area. He also happens to be a good chef (just something on the side he also likes to brag about).

But despite his phenomenal success, this young man holds a dream of one day dancing for music sensation Makhadzi. "I do not need people to tell me I am a good dancer. I know my story, and the genre that Makhadzi sings is my speciality. I have been following her with keen interest, going to gigs where she was performing in the hope of meeting her, but that has not happened. I have been texting her on all her social media platforms, but I'm not getting her attention or response," he said.

Salani is not about to give up and he has relayed a special message directly to his idol: "I am not shy. I am energetic and friendly and could fit in well and be one of your dancers. Please, my sister Makhadzi Muimbi Queen ya Venda, give me a chance and make my dream come true!"

Salani pleads for anyone who can help to hook him up with Makhadzi to call him on 066 337 7822.
