Wavhudi Gymnastics Club, which competes in numerous tournaments both within and outside the province, recently rewarded players who had performed exceptionally well throughout the season.
The awards ceremony was held on 29 November at the Robert Mphephu Fitness Centre in Thohoyandou. According to the team manager, Ms Angel Mulaudzi, the main purpose of presenting trophies is to motivate players to perform well and work harder in their competitions.
"Our main focus is to develop players who can compete internationally. We have many talented young athletes whom we expect will continue to excel in gymnastics," Mulaudzi said.
The awards went to:

* Vhugala Netshidzati – Best attendance
* Tinashe Rivombo – Most enthusiastic gymnast
* Mpho Selane – Best level 2 artistic gymnast & most improved gymnast
* Unarine Nekhumbe – Best rhythmic beginner gymnast & Rising Star
* Masindi Kwinda – Best artistic beginner gymnast, Best level 1 artistic gymnast & Best artistic gymnast of the year
* Vhutali Mulaudzi – Most improved rhythmic gymnast
* Vhutali Tshivhase – Best level 3 rhythmic gymnast
* Mufunwa Tshamaano – Best level 1 rhythmic gymnast & Best rhythmic gymnast of the year
* Akonaho Mathivha – Best pre-level gymnast
* Tajeka Mapusha – Most dedicated gymnast & WGC Best spirit
The club continues to focus on nurturing young talent, encouraging discipline, and fostering a love for gymnastics among its members.
