Limpopo Champ Boxing Promotions of Mr Phathutshedzo Dongola, in partnership with the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, will be presenting a fight for the vacant WBF featherweight title between Sydney "Skeleton" Maluleke and Godfrey "Godfather" Nemukongwe on Friday, 25 September.

It will be one of the most-talked-about fights during a boxing spectacular, themed the Who is going to survive boxing tournament.

The Malamulele-born Skeleton has had 21 fights, with 16 victories (10 KO) and five defeats, while Nemukongwe of Thohoyandou has a record of 16 fights, with 10 victories and six defeats.

In a WBF middleweight clash, Ghanaian Oriel Mgidi will challenge Bongani Molotshwa from Gauteng and the South African heavyweight champion, Anton Nell, will be defending his title against the Cape Town-born challenger, Sthembile August.

Tshifhiwa "Timer" Munyai will be fighting against Nkosinathi Tshinavhe for the provincial lightweight title and the Polokwane-based Pakistani, Mohamed Ali Saalman, will meet Vincent Mulaudzi over four rounds. Balanganani Ndou and Tendani Munyai will also battle over four rounds.

The tournament will take place in the Thohoyandou Town Hall.
