Mpheni Defenders maintained their unbeaten run in the ABC Motsepe League over the weekend, drawing 2–2 against Selwane White Vultures at Selwane Sports Ground on Saturday.
Mpheni remain top of the league table, having played 17 matches, winning 12 and drawing five, with 41 points.
Other weekend results included Mukondeni Young Chiefs and Tzaneen playing to a 2–2 draw in Tzaneen. Tshakhuma Tshamadzivhandila (TTM) drew 3–3 with Phalaborwa United at Tshifulanani Stadium, while Vondwe XI Bullets lost 3–0 at home to Nkowankowa Continentals at Makonde Stadium.
Meanwhile, the match between Musina United and Lebash Academy was abandoned at Musina Rugby Stadium on Friday following a controversial penalty decision.
