The last batch of the round-of-16 matches of the Lumveleni Soccer Tournament will be played at the Ngudza Grounds on Sunday. Whether Tshivhungululu Hungry Vultures will manage to prey on Tshikovha Arsenal in their opening match for the day remains to be seen.

The Vultures' journey to the last-16 round was not an easy one. They beat All Nations FC 5-2 at the same venue three weeks ago. The winner was determined through a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw at the end of regulation time. Arsenal will face the mammoth task of containing the Vultures' goal poachers in Awelani Netshifhefhe, Mualusi Masindi, and Dakalo Netshilema. The game is scheduled to start at 09:00.

Tshimuthe FC will lock horns with Matangari Settlers in the next fixture, scheduled to kick off at 11:30. Tshimuthe will have only themselves to blame if they fail to secure a place in the quarter-final round. Tshimuthe's performance in their league campaign is quite impressive; they are currently lying in third position on the log. Although Settlers have registered several experienced players in the tournament, beating Tshimuthe will be challenging for the Matangari side as they are campaigning in the lower division.

The other fixture will be between Manamani Blue Birds and Vhufuli Dangerous Scorpions. This one appears to be a mismatch, considering that Dangerous Scorpions are affiliated with the Bantam league while Blue Birds are campaigning in the Safa Vhembe Hollywoodbets Division. Blue Birds are one of the close contenders for the league title.

Ngudza Young Vultures and Tshiombo FC will wrap up the day's programme.
