The teams affiliated with the Limpopo Stream of the Sasol Women's League face another busy weekend. Six matches will be played at different venues throughout the province on Saturday afternoon, while two are scheduled for Sunday.
All roads will lead to the Tshitungulwane Grounds in the Vuwani area, where the match between Rodadau FC and Lacoste Morning Stars will take place. Rodadau must beat Morning Stars to restore their pride and keep their title hopes alive. After winning their first four matches, Rodadau lost their first league match last Saturday. They were beaten 0-2 by Sinthumulekutama FC at the Sinthumule High School Grounds. Rodadau are now lying in second place on the log standings with 12 points, three behind the pace setters, Sinthumulekutama FC, following their defeat last Saturday.
The spirit is high in the Stars' camp after they beat Sealene Ladies 1-0 at the Shayandima School Grounds last Sunday. Stopping Rodadau's strikers, Tanzi Mashamba and Keabetswe Letoaba, will not be easy for the Stars' defenders. Morning Stars will pin their hopes on Gumani "Mphela" Mulibana and Rinae Seneke for goals.
After playing two matches at home, Sinthumulekutama FC will be on the road this Saturday. They will travel to Merwe outside Malamulele, where they will play against Merwe United Ladies.
Masakona Liberty Experience and Sisters FC will fight for points at the Masakona Grounds. Sealene Ladies will play their second away match in a row. They will be visitors to Real Mighty Ladies at the Xikukwani Stadium outside Giyani. Sealene Ladies were beaten 0-1 by Lacoste Morning Stars last Sunday.
The other fixtures are Golden Diamond Ladies vs. Marumo Gallants, FC 50 Stars United vs. Ramatlaohle Ladies, Maindis Ladies vs. Dinaledi Ladies, and Kanatla Ladies vs. Mandebele Happy Fighters Ladies.
