With five matches remaining in the Sasol Women's League season, the battle for promotion and to avoid relegation continues this weekend. Rodadau FC face Sinthumulekutama FC at the Tshitungulwane Grounds outside Vuwani on Saturday afternoon.
Sinthumulekutama lead the table with 31 points, 11 ahead of Masakona Liberty Experience and Lacoste Morning Stars. A win against Rodadau would secure their place in the provincial promotional playoffs. Rodadau, already out of the title race after a 1-1 draw with Univen Ladies last weekend, would see a draw as a bonus. Sinthumulekutama remain unbeaten this season, their only dropped points coming in a 1-1 draw with Sisters FC on 10 August at the Nwamitwa Grounds.
Sealene Ladies host Lacoste Morning Stars at the Sealene Grounds outside Phalaborwa. Stars players Musiiwa Thovhakale and Tshisevhe Lidzebe will be key to their team's chances. Sealene were held 1-1 by Tshandama Young Stars last Saturday.
Real Mighty Ladies meet Tshandama Young Stars at Xikukwani Stadium outside Giyani, while Masakona Liberty Experience face Univen Ladies at the Masakona Grounds. Liberty Experience climbed to second spot on the log after a 1-0 win over Sisters FC at Nwamitwa.
