Following that match at 11:30 will be a showdown between the "brothers", Vondwe United Brothers and Ngudza United Brothers. Vondwe United Brothers silenced their critics by defeating Tshimuthe FC 2-1 in the last-16 round last Sunday. Pfanani Mufamadi and Tendani Gundula of Vondwe are expected to pose a significant threat in the opponents' danger area if not well contained.
The third quarter-final match, scheduled to start at 13:30, will feature Vondwe XI Bullets taking on SDA FC. Vondwe XI Bullets had a challenging path to the quarter-finals, beating Ngwenani Young Chiefs 5-3 in a penalty shootout to secure their place in this round.
To wrap up the day's programme, Makwarani Frelimo Boys will face off against Madridtas. Madridtas secured their spot in the quarter-finals by defeating Mavhola New Castle 2-1 in their last-16-round match at the same venue last Sunday.
