Worship Team releases first album 30 years after formation

This nine-track album, available on all streaming platforms, is a testament to perseverance and faith, aiming to spread messages of hope and redemption.

After three decades of ministry, perseverance and faith, the worship team of Centre of Faith Bible Church has finally released its debut gospel album, Jeremiah 29:11.

The worship ensemble, known as CFBCMusic, was established in 1996 under the spiritual leadership of Apostle NM Makhado and Prophetess Livhuwani Makhado. The long-awaited nine-track album was officially released on 27 February and is now available on all streaming platforms.

Speaking about the project, Makhado said the album reflects years of faith, patience and perseverance.

“We have tried to record the album twice before, but due to financial challenges it was not possible. This release is proof that God’s timing is always perfect,” she said.

She added that the album draws inspiration from the scripture Jeremiah 29:11, which has remained a pillar of strength for the ministry throughout its 30-year journey.

“This album is a testimony to the unwavering power of faith. Through music, we want to spread the message of God’s love, hope and redemption to this generation and beyond. We want people to know that no matter the trials they face, God has good plans for them,” said Makhado.

Among the standout tracks on the album are Yehova Ndi Mulisawanga, Jeremiah Chapter 29 Verse 11 and Roswika, featuring gospel artist Takie Sikhwivhilu. The church’s mass choir also features on the song Lutendo.

Makhado said they hope the music will inspire listeners around the world.

“May this collection of songs become a beacon of light to many people and remind them that when they call upon God, He answers in His own perfect time,” she said.
