Ndivhuwo Tshavhungwe launched his first book, titled "Lufunofuno," during a special event held at the Reformed Church in Thohoyandou Block G on Saturday, 19 August.

The title of the book, "Lufunofuno," means true love, and the book reflects on the importance of love in every aspect of life.

Tshavhungwe, 25 years old, was born and raised in Lufule II village along the Punda Maria road. He developed a passion for writing when he was in the tenth grade at Liivha Secondary School. He submitted his handwritten ideas about love to accomplished Tshivenda authors, including Professor Muloiwa, who encouraged him to write a book.

Tshavhungwe believes that establishing good relationships with others is impossible without love. "The Bible clearly instructs us to love one another as God loves us all, so why do people still engage in conflict and gossip? Whether it's at school, in the workplace, in our communities, or within our families, without love for our fellow human beings, harmony cannot exist. We need love in our hearts to foster positive relationships with each other as love conquers all."

In 2018, the young writer pursued a diploma in mechanical engineering at the Northern Technical College in Muledane village. In 2021, he had the opportunity to teach three subjects in the mechanical engineering course for more than two years. Currently, he offers extra classes at the old Christ the King Primary School in Makwarela for students studying for their mechanical engineering diplomas.

Tshavhungwe shared that his dream as an author is to have written 50 books when he reaches the age of 50.
