Lutendo Manenje from Hamakatu has published two inspirational books, Impossible is Nothing and Confront and Conquer, urging people—especially the youth—to discover their purpose and use their gifts.
"Everyone has a talent, but the hardest part is recognising it. Once you do, focus on shaping it to benefit yourself and others," said Manenje. "God gave me this gift to help people, and I'm grateful I discovered it."
He said the support he had received had been overwhelming. "I'm humbled by how people are backing me. All I can do is thank God."
Manenje urged people to stop waiting for the "right time" and start pursuing their dreams. "Life isn't guaranteed. Stop making excuses—live fully and die empty."
He admits some people still found it strange that he wrote, but he shrugged it off. "I poke fun as a way of inspiring others to do better," he said. "Writing is my voice—it's how I speak to the world."
Following the success of his first book, he said more were on the way. "The public response pushed me to write more."
