At just 15, Shibe Comfort Denga is determined to make her mark in the beauty industry. The Grade 10 learner at Mbilwi Secondary School, who hails from Hamangilasi in Vuwani, has already worked her way into the finals of the Miss Limpopo Schools 2025 pageant.

Her modelling journey began in 2024 when she entered her high school's Miss Mbilwi pageant and walked away with the crown. That victory sparked a passion that set her on a path of empowerment, growth and inspiration.

"After that, I became unstoppable, and the Miss Limpopo Schools pageant is more than just a title. It is a platform that I believe would give young girls like me a voice, an opportunity to grow and the chance to make a difference in our schools and communities. Competing on a provincial stage will open many doors for the lot of young models," she said.

For Denga, the competition is not just about winning the crown but also about forming bonds with fellow contestants and representing her roots with pride.

Ahead of the finale, set to take place at Meropa Casino in Polokwane on 5 October, each finalist is expected to contribute towards the event's logistics.

Despite the challenges, Denga remains optimistic.

"Being a finalist is already a win for me. My other goal is to complete my Grade 10 and become a role model, not just as a model, but an educated one who would empower young girls to chase their dreams," she said.
