Ngangoho Muneri (34), winner in the Enterprise Development category of the 2025 Vhembe District Youth in Business Competition, has encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to get started - even on a small scale.
"Don't wait for the 'perfect time' - take action, learn as you go, and stay committed," said Muneri. "Being your own boss takes discipline, resilience and constant learning, but the freedom and fulfilment are worth it. Believe in your ideas, even when others don't. Surround yourself with people who challenge and support you. Embrace failure as part of the process - it's how you grow."
He added: "Most importantly, stay true to your purpose. If your heart is in it and you're willing to work hard, you can build something amazing. Your journey won't be easy, but it will be yours - and that's powerful."
Muneri is the founder of Attractiv Kreations, a Shayandima-based company that offers ICT, signage, printing and branding services. The company has worked with clients such as KFC, Telkom, Debonairs and Shoprite.
"Our vision is to make attractive creations across the globe," said Muneri. "Our mission is to provide exceptional service and follow through on our promises. We deliver tailored solutions to meet each client's printing needs and aim to add value to their businesses. Our team is committed to building lasting relationships through consistent and reliable service."
Muneri said he would invest the R130,000 prize money from the competition into expanding operations, developing reliable backup systems, and improving service quality.
"Most importantly, this support will help us create job opportunities and contribute meaningfully to our community. I'm truly grateful for this opportunity and excited for what lies ahead," he said.
