Local gospel artist Thabelo Netshiunda recently hosted a Thank You concert to acknowledge the support from her fans. It took place at The Beautiful Gate Church in Mulodi.
Netshiunda said the event was about celebrating the gift of life, thanking God for giving her supporters. “The purpose of the event was also to give hope to the hopeless, show humanity and love to those who need that as we celebrate God’s greatness in my life and achievements in the music journey,” Netshiunda added.
During the concert, Netshiunda also donated food and clothes to destitute people. She said that it felt good to give back to the community. The entrance to the event was free and people were advised to bring non-perishable food and clothes.
Her album His Glory, which was released in April 2017, has already won Tshima Awards (Best Gospel Album of the Year and Best Female Artist of the Year), Gauteng Gospel Music Awards (Best Gospel Album of the Year, Best Worship Album of the Year and Best Gospel Artist of the Year) and an INGOMA Award (Best Gospel Album of the Year). The album comprises 18 songs.
“To my fans I want to say the love and support you always show is amazing. May God give you the desires of your heart. When God gets all the glory, our lives can never be the same. This is just the beginning of greater things to come so let’s walk through this journey together,” Netshiunda concluded.
