Afro-soul and pop artist Una Rine’s fans are grooving to the beats of his much-anticipated second album, “Lagos In Venda”, following its release on Thursday, 1 February. The 20-song album features collaborations with both national and international artists, including Ven Rap King Mizo Phyll, Asa Tee, JR Player, Osome Feyn, Greezbeatz from Nigeria, PillBoy, and MphoEL.

Born Una Rine Junior Mulondo at Mulodi village, this rising star has stirred renewed excitement among his fans. The album not only showcases his musical skills but also fosters a strong sense of community and connection within his ever-growing fan base. Standout tracks include collaborations such as “Harmony in the City” with Mizo Phyll, a blend of urban vibes and traditional melodies, and “Rhythm of the Hills”, which features the soulful vocals of Asa Tee.

The artist explained that he had taken more than a year to work on the album, a tribute to cultural diversity that celebrates the power of music in bridging gaps and connecting people. “There was a lot of learning in between, and the ability to tell stories that similarly affect us as Africans, from poverty to unemployment, etc. ‘Lagos In Venda’ addresses the sustainable development goals, part of the Struu Artzz Entertainment project called ‘Rural Performers Incubator’. It addresses societal ills that affect the youth and encourages listeners to be themselves and follow their passion,” he said.

Social media has been ablaze with enthusiastic comments, praising Una Rine’s innovative sound, life-changing lyrics, and overall production quality. “I believe that my unique style and authentic sound are set to captivate listeners, making this album a must-add to everyone’s playlist,” he said.
