TRON’s left winger, Thabiso Lekgau.
The ABC Motsepe League match between Tshakhuma RO Nandilani (TRON) and Mikhado FC will be staged at the Tshisaulu Greenfields grounds on Sunday afternoon.
The fact that Mikhado and TRON are based in the Vhembe District is reason enough for the local football fanatics to expect to watch a thriller. Things are fast going from bad to worse in the TRON camp. They have managed to win only one of the six matches they have played to date. Their most recent defeat was a 0-1 loss to Mighty FC at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium last Friday evening.
On the other hand, Mikhado’s performance is improving day by day. They scored six goals in their last two matches. Mikhado crushed Mighty FC 0-4 last Tuesday afternoon and came back to play to a 2-2 draw with Magezi FC at the Rabali Stadium last Saturday.
What remains to be seen is whether the TRON defenders will have the guts to stop the strikers of Mikhado, Vutomi Ngomane, Ndamulelo Mungadi and Rendani Thavhana. TRON will pin their hopes on Dakalo Nemakonde, Thabiso Lekgau and Oscar Mtshauba for goals.
Magezi FC will host Polokwane Academy at the TT Cholo Stadium outside Polokwane. The pace setters, Madridtas FC, are gearing up for a tough match against The Dolphins FC at the Oscar Mphetha Stadium in Turfloop.
Baraccah Valley will travel to the Seshego Stadium to rub shoulders with Great North FC, while Ditlou FC will host Ollesdal FC at the Groblersdal Stadium.
Boyne Young Tigers will host Polokwane United, while the Mopani derby between Giyani Hotspurs and Pusela City will be staged at the Giyani Stadium.
Mighty FC will have a date with Ndengeza FC at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in the only match that will be played this afternoon.
