Last-16 round of Lumveleni tournament starts

The first batch of matches for the Lumveleni Soccer Tournament's last-16 round will take place at Ngudza Grounds on Sunday. Four matches are scheduled, with the first clash between Tshikambe FC and Ngwenani Young Chiefs, vying for a spot in the quarter-final. The opening match kicks off at 09:00.

A brief look at Young Chiefs' record suggests that securing a victory will not be easy for Tshikambe. Young Chiefs remain unbeaten in the league this season, currently leading Stream C1 with 26 points from 10 outings.

The second match, starting at 11:30, features Manamani City against Mukumbani Shooting Stars. Anticipated to be a thriller, both City and Shooting Stars participate in the Safa Hollywoodbets League. While Shooting Stars struggle in their league campaign, City is considered one of the close contenders for the league title.

Shortly after midday, Mukula Silver Stars will face Vondwe United Brothers, and the day's program will conclude with the match between Mighty Super Power and Mukula Young Santos.
