Khuliso, Ipfani and Caroline disrespect their new teacher and he’s quick to take action. But the incident causes the trio to think more deeply about their behaviour, and how to make things right… When teacher Tinetariro turns around and rakes his eyes over all the learners in the classroom, Khuliso, Ipfani and Caroline keep dead quiet. They stare ahead at the chalkboard, along with the other learners. “Who is laughing here? Who just laughed in the classroom?” teacher Tinetariro demands, pointing a stub of a white chalk at them. His fingers are covered in white chalk dust. “I have been teaching for the past seven years and I know how to deal with naughty learners. Or do you think I am a new teacher? Is this some kind of trial? Are you trying to see how strong I am?”
