Jonasi and his schoolfriends think they are cool, smoking dagga. But then the dealer introduces them to a harder drug, and their lives start to spin out of control. Jonasi’s parents are desperate. Can the teenagers quit, before real tragedy strikes? When the friends meet, they talk: “C’mon, guys – it’s not like we’re here to work,” Jonasi says. “I had to help my dad in the garden. I am the only child at home. Sometimes my parents need me around to help them.” Pretty shakes her head and frowns. “You can always dodge them. We didn’t have money for cigarettes and you kept us waiting. Rudzani called and you didn’t answer.” Jonasi shrugs. “Guys, stop complaining. I saw the missed-calls but I couldn’t call back. My dad is already on my case about hanging with you.”
