Registration for Miss Resilience Beauty Pageant has opened

 

The registration window for the Miss Resilience Thohoyandou Beauty Pageant opened on Monday (1st). The project is the brainchild of the Rolmav Foundation. According to the director of the foundation, Ms Gracious Mavhungu, the girls who wish to take part in the contest have until the end of next month to register.

Mavhungu said that the contest would be divided into two categories. The Miss Resilience Thohoyandou category is open to girls whose ages range from 18 to 27, while Miss Teen Resilience is restricted to girls aged between 5 and 17. The registration fee for all categories is R250. Mavhungu said that the elimination process will start in the first week of March, while the main event will be staged at the Khoroni Hotel Conference Hall in August.

Some of the prizes the Miss Resilience Thohoyandou queen will walk away with include a cash prize of R5,000, gift bags, trophies, spa vouchers, and clothing vouchers. According to Mavhungu, the prizes will change if they manage to acquire more sponsors. More information can be obtained by phoning Gracious on 0797666177.
