Can Happy Boys stop Home Defenders?

Teams affiliated with the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League are gearing up for their third-round league matches for the current soccer season this weekend.

After securing their first victory last weekend, Giyani Happy Boys face a challenging task this weekend. Having triumphed 1-0 over Musina United at the Musina Rugby Stadium last Saturday, Happy Boys will now host Mpheni Home Defenders at the Xikukwani Stadium outside Giyani on Saturday. The team will need to double their efforts if they are serious about defeating Home Defenders.

Home Defenders remain undefeated in the league this season, currently leading the pack with the maximum points from their first two matches. They began the new season with a narrow 1-0 victory over Munaca FC at the Mpheni Grounds two weeks ago and followed up with a 3-1 win against Bellevue Winners Park last Saturday.

Madridtas FC will play in front of their home crowd as they host Bellevue Winners Park FC at the Tshifudi Stadium. Madridtas is still adapting to the new environment after acquiring ABC Motsepe League status from Black Leopards at the beginning of the season.

United Artists are gearing up for a tough match against Munaca FC as they compete for league points at the Makhuvha Stadium. Like Munaca FC, United Artists are yet to secure a league victory this season, having only earned one point in their league account so far.

Vondwe XI Bullets will entertain Musina United at the Tshifudi Stadium. Bullets are in good form this season, having collected four points in the two league matches they have played to date.

Other fixtures include Emmanuel FC vs Maruleng Celtic, City Motors vs Sunrise FC, Tubatse United vs Eleven Fast Tigers, Nkowankowa Continentals vs Mighty FC, Ditlou FC vs Tzaneen United, and Mokopane PJ Stars vs The Dolphins.
